Something over a hundred years ago, a section of the Tory Lords led us onto the rocks over Ireland - with their powers of stupidity only being curtailed after that horse had bolted. Is a section of the Tory Commons about to celebrate the centenary of that stupidity with another?
Not to mention the antics of the parties concerned in Northern Ireland.
