Settling in

Six weeks after its arrival, noticed at reference 1, the new lodger seems to be doing alright.

The body of the plant may now be resting on the side of the pot - right hand side in the snap left - but the rest of it is pulling back towards the light. The new shoots that were visible are doing fine, and there are more of them. Clearly the plant - BH says some kind of an aloe - is doing OK.

On the other hand, I do seem to have lost some definition in this new, second snap. Is it the time of day? Is it the fact that I loaded it direct onto this laptop, rather than taking it in the usual way, through the desktop? With the image processing software on the two machines not being quite the same. The graphics cards, at least, will not be the same. At least, on the basis of my limited understanding of such things, I would not have thought so.

I will do it the other way in due course and we shall see how it turns out there.
