Niggle

The failure to find the builders' dump mentioned at reference 1 has been irritating me, and I have been turning over possible sort keys. Eventually, Windows search on the archive folder with 'malden box yellow common' or some such turned up a small enough number of documents - each one representing a month - for me to be able to light upon the right one at reference 2, with something of the honeysuckle box to be seen left, snapped the other day from about where the yellow box was.

Not helped by my remembering a yellow box, when the main box turns out to be blue. In mitigation, I can plead that it was more than two years ago. And it was a surprise how often words like 'yellow' and 'box' cropped up in the normal course of events. Far more often than I would have guessed beforehand.

Two upsides of archive search. First, there is only one archive rather than three blogs. Second, having found a likely document, Word search tells you where the words of interest are in the document, rather than having to find them for yourself. The downside being that that the unit of search is the month, which is rather large, rather than the post, which is what one is usually looking for.
