Somewhere to the north of Bridgwater there is a huge and eye-catching Morrison's operation, just to the west of and clearly visible from the M5. Apparently a state of the art distribution centre, serving the southwest. I don't recall ever seeing anything quite like it, although there is a big Sainsbury's operation to be seen from the southern end of the bridge at the Dartford Crossing - maybe bigger but not anything like as flashy as this place. On the other hand it is known to gmaps.
Which, oddly, this one is not, despite it having been going for some years: perhaps google don't get around to updating their aerial photography out here on the periphery very often. A pity, as the picture I have taken from a local paper doesn't give one much idea of the size of the place, with the main building said to be over half a kilometre long.
And to think that I hardly ever use their shops, despite there being quite a big one in Sutton.
