Bardstone

A funerary stone for Edmond, the brother of William, along with a couple of others for theatrical colleagues, let into the floor of the choir of what is now Southwark Cathedral. Not actual grave stones, as the authorities are not sure where exactly in the church they were buried. But they do know that such burials took place before noon, so as not to disturb matinée performances.

I had not realised that the Bard had a brother in the business.
