Yellow

Orange stamens getting more prominent, but florets do not look set to open any more. Nor do they set to become orange or pink.

There are quite a lot of the dud leaves mentioned (and more visible) in the last post at the top of the inflorescence. Perhaps they really are flower buds which did not make it.
