Road manners

From time to time I moan about cycle ways and cyclists, but today it is the turn of the four wheelers. This being a not very satisfactory snap of an unsightly rut across the road from the new West Hill cycleway, caused by someone mounting the kerb, crossing the footpath and then getting stuck into the wet grass. Can't imagine what he or she might have been doing.

But despite several efforts, none of the resulting snaps captures the ugliness of the rut. Perhaps one needed to be able to stand in the road to do the job properly.
