Or is it? Closer inspection reveals discrepancies. Small prize offered to the reader who can explain them away.

PS: prompted by a clutch of pictures in today's Guardian, I now find that I have come across the convolvulus painter before. See reference 1 for a picture of relatively modest size, at 2 feet by 3 feet.
