Just spotted a pair of goldfinches in the apple tree across the fence, behind the back of our garage. Only a couple of months since last time, but as far as my memory served, it could have been a couple of years. Good job someone has proper retrieval capability.
PS: a few minutes later. Now up to half a dozen of them, perched on the edge of our extension roof, right under my nose.
