Graffiti

While the cathedral was being built, the people of Canterbury had to make do with the church of St. Martin, the church which boasts the longest unbroken service in the land, quite a lot more than a thousand years.

It was shut on the day we visited, but we were amused by the graffiti old and new snapped left. Note also the bits of Roman tile, recycled from an earlier existence.
