New resident

A new resident has arrived on my laptop this morning, with some signs of web spinning activity, with at least one line running from the top of the screen to the top of the window, more than two feet above. Visible top left on the screen in the snap left.

So far he has been there for at least four hours. The telephone struggled when the spider was moving and it was dark outside, presumably all the strong contrasts in light made it hard to focus on a small brown object, but coped rather better when it became light.

On the laptop the image is about twice life size when you click to enlarge and, given the number of layers of processing involved, I was impressed that one could more or less see individual pixels on the blue part of the screen. Or at least some fairly direct derivative thereof.
