First frost of the season, overnight 1st-2nd November. Presently a bright, sunny morning, but frost not yet off that part of the extension roof which the sun has got to. Sun not yet got to any of the garage roof, round to the right from my vantage point at the study window. No frost on the grass, can't now remember whether there was any.
Maybe we will get to see some small birds in the garden again, possibly present but certainly invisible during the summer.
