Tent

From time to time I report on unofficial residents of the Longmead and Blenheim Roads. See for example reference 1.

Yesterday. I came across a new development. That is to say not a family in a proper travelling caravan, or even a person in a rather beat up caravan - of which we have had a couple down Blenheim Road - but a tent. A tent which has appeared in the bushes on the eastern side of the stream running down Longmead Road, a little upstream of the King's Church there.

Unluckily for the resident concerned, his tent and so forth were caught by the bright morning sun and were clearly visible from the western side of the stream, the home straight of the Horton Clockwise. On the other hand, perhaps they chose the bushes at the back of the church on the grounds that the church elders will probably be a bit squeamish about kicking him out. I assume that it is not a her.
