Following our visit on New Year's Eve, noticed at reference 1, we remembered to go back to Herald Copse this morning, more or less to the day of our visits in 2017 and 2016, noticed at references 2 and 3.
Snowdrops in fine form. Telephone in not such good form, with a proportion of the snaps having a wide horizontal band of loss of focus. I heard a story yesterday about the processors in telephones slowing themselves when they detected an old battery condition, in order to economise a bit. Which would be consistent with the guess in the O2 shop that the processor had worn out. How much longer can I hold out?
Café busy and in good form, offering a sort of raspberry sponge slice to go with my tea.
Nonsuch Park as a whole busy, with plenty of people out with their dogs. Plenty of mud and puddles on the paths, although the park does seem to be able to cope. Everything recovers in the spring. In the meantime, plenty of toddlers having interesting experiences with, on and in the puddles.
