No one is safe!

A snap of a display table in Epsom library's remainder shop. Which caught my eye because of its inclusion of Antonio Damasio's book 'Self Comes to Mind', published in 2010. With Damasio being an eminent neuroscientist who was born in Portugal but who has, I believe, now lived in California for many years.

I must have seen a positive review somewhere as I now have a full-price copy on my own shelf. But positive review or not, less than ten years down the line he has been remaindered!

PS: to sound a slightly negative note and at risk of the pot calling the kettle black, Damasio is rather too fond, to my mind, of what a colleague, many years ago now, used to call non information bearing diagrams.
