Atlas cedar

I have been keeping an eye on the weeping Atlas cedar (aka Cedrus Atlantica Glauca Pendula) in Hook Road for some time, certainly since early 2011. See reference 1.

So today I am pleased to be able to report that it continues to thrive, slowly, as it is a particularly slow growing tree. I only worry that it may not care for the competition growing up around it, competition which may, in due course, block the view from the road.
