The books given pride of place in the shop part of the café at Box Hill. About as relevant to Box Hill in particular or the National Trust in general as those snapped at Wisley at reference 1 were relevant to gardening: not so much a nation of shopkeepers (see Napoleon 1er) as a nation of shoppers.
