Former hotel

The headquarters of the secret service, a building once intended for a hotel, but sold off to government instead. As seen from outside the Vauxhall branch of Pret, mentioned in the last post.

Rather a lot of glass for a secure building. Maybe the Russian equivalent looks a bit more like a fortress. While I believe the French equivalent is known to the locals as the swimming pool - so perhaps they have lots of glass too.

Not sure about the composition of this snap; perhaps I could have done better had I got up from my sandwich. Too late now, as the way it is displayed on this laptop means that the snipping tool would lose the top of the right hand tower.
