Volunteers

I have not been much irritated by the activities of the Chain Saw Volunteers in recent months, perhaps because I mostly stay off the Common.

But it seems they are still about, with my coming across this swathe cut from the road through to the all weather track, just before turning into Horton Lane. Perhaps they are probing for reactions from any irritated residents there may be, before embarking on the main business, on something more serious.
