The first house noticed at reference 1 went up quite quickly, with off-the-lorry panelling (now faced with blue plastic) bolted together and doubling as frame. We were puzzled about what the outside would be made of, with there being no room left on the (bevelled) foundations for bricks, and the answer seems to be some kind of white sheeting.

Work presently paused, with the pause now, I think, starting its third week. Maybe yet another dispute or yet another failure of finance.
