Trolley 105

A Sainsbury's special needs trolley, captured on the grass by Screwfix.

The wheel lock, visible on the back wheel on the grass, not the new yellow model, was engaged, but could be disengaged by holding up a plastic flap. I tried holding it up with a bit of plastic wrapping as a wedge, which lasted for a couple of hundred yards. Then tying it up with a bit of plastic ribbon - possibly sellotape or some such with the glue washed off - but the ribbon was not strong enough two-ply and although I had plenty of the stuff, I could not be bothered to make a proper job of it.

It was not too hard to push with the when locked, but then I found that applying pressure on the right hand side of the handle and a little lift on the left hand side was enough to get the locked wheel clear of the ground, which was better.

Deposited at the entrance to the special needs enclosure at Kiln Lane.
