Alcatraz for chickens

The triple fence of the chicken house at Polesden Lacey. I feel sure that I have noticed it before, but it deserves a second notice. The finest chicken house in Surrey.

I think the trusties panicked after foxes broke into the previous chicken house and killed most of the occupants. With such break-ins being all the more upsetting & annoying in that the foxes don't bother to eat the chickens, or at least nothing like as many as they kill.
