The view from our picnic bench at Polesden Lacey. Plenty of bees about, but they don't come out in the snap, even when you click to enlarge. A handsome bit of gardening, but the sort of thing that only works when you have a lot more space to play with than we do.
My only quibble was that the stone pole in the middle is too tall and would have been much better a bit less than half the height. Keep the fatness but lose the height. Maybe a sundial or a stone saucer with water for the birds.
