Watching the flowers grow (again)

A few months ago I posted plenty about the flowers on our aloe. See reference 1 for a sample. Noting that I cannot use its group search key here without getting this post into that sequence. But there must be a way, its just that I have not found it.

This week we have been watching the irises coming up, outside the kitchen window. Like the aloe, they seem to have been on the verge of breaking out for days, but have chosen to go on going up rather than breaking out. But maybe in a day or so now.
