Apples

Finest organic English apples bought from Tesco's of Leatherhead the day before yesterday. Not bad at all for shop apples, good even this morning, although I do not suppose that they will keep very well now they are indoors.

We wondered, not for the first time, about what an inorganic apple would look like. Or what an unnatural flavouring would taste like. Then about what happened to all the livestock that I used to get in apples grown without the benefits of insecticides, presumably counting in the orgo world as inorganic.

On a better day I would have managed without the intrusions top left and bottom right, this last being the corner of my temporarily discarded spectacles.

See reference 1 for notice of the other shop pulling off the same trick.
