Bingshot

Another striking snap of the day on Bing this morning, this one from Sweden.

One of things striking me being how well it captured the notion from the physical geography of my schooldays, with U-shaped valleys, cut by glaciers of old and topped by more gently sloping alps where one might graze sheep and cows in the summer.

And one question for someone. Why is most of the vegetation either yellow, orange or brown? Dead bracken, dead trees or what?
