Trolley 95

Captured outside the Rifleman at the junction of Hook Road and East Street, at the end of the high street. The first M&S trolley since April, noticed at reference 1, nearly twenty trolleys ago.

Being on the Ewell Village anti-clockwise, I had already passed M&S, but it was only a matter of ten minutes or so to go back. To find that it was the only green handled trolley on the stand at the back of the shop. All the rest of them sported one of the new white handles.

I suppose that, being a much smaller operation than Sainsbury's at Kiln Lane, it is not worth their while to fit security locks. Or, perhaps, neither the town centre location nor the brand attract the sort of people who make away with trolleys. I think of M&S as being a bit pricey for food and unlikely to do a budget line in groceries, in the way of the other big stores.
