Still there

The egret was still there this morning. It must have got a bit more used to Longmead Road, as it allowed me to get a bit nearer than yesterday.

But I still need to work on the telephone, with zooming in on the laptop with the MS viewer on what the telephone does by default to objects in the middle distance not being very satisfactory at all. In this case maybe 10 metres away. Nothing like as good as the eye.

And with full zoom being even worse, giving all kinds of untoward rings and echoes around the bird.
