A rather left over used car lot and I have always thought that not incorporating the site into the block of flats built next door a year or so ago was a bad result. Presumably the owner, Mr Wilson, the Mr. Big of the car world in Epsom, wanted more for the highly visible, if highly scruffy, corner site than the flat developers would pay. Should it have been a case for town planner intervention?
See gmaps 51.338843,-0.2568637. However, if you put these same coordinates into bing maps, it insists, no doubt for some good reason of its own, on their being 51.338843, -0.256864. But it does seem to be much the same place. And then, when you go back to gmaps, you find that it has more than one longitude value on the go. So who knows what is going on.
