Spotted on Sunday at around bing 51.339641, -0.263315, just by the tunnel under the railway line behind Screwfix, and captured on Monday, by which time it had moved a couple of hundred yards through the tunnel and along Stones Road to somewhere near bing 51.339286, -0.261877.
A trolley without a front wheel security device on this occasion. Who had moved it overnight and why? What was the back story?
In any event, I returned it to Sainsbury's in nearby Kiln Lane, shortly after 1100. A good deal quieter in the car park than it had been the previous day.
I like the newly discovered feature in bing maps whereby I can put the mouse anywhere on the map, then right click and copy the coordinates into the clipboard, from where they can be pasted anywhere else, for example here. All of which seems rather easier than whatever it was that I did in gmaps.
PS: note the pixelation of the vertical wires on the left hand side of the basket when you click to enlarge, particularly those in front of the shadow underneath the car in front. They must be at just the right angle, guage and contrast to maximise this particular artefact.
